Magic Optimizer 6.0 can help you with migrating from uniPaaS 1.x to uniPaaS 2.x. These are the issues which should be addressed before migration:
- Changes in control properties or behavior - Changes are a result of forms being implemented using .NET and not Win32 controls.
- Removed controls or control properties - Certain controls and properties are not supported in .Net
- Changed functions - Some functions are removed and some changed to comply with .Net environment
- Unsupported Task modes - Certain task modes are not supported for Online tasks: Delete, Locate, Range, Key, Sort, Files and Options
- Parallel execution - Programs that are defined as parallel will not run in parallel
- I/O Devices - The Console media type is no longer supported. Previous projects with a Console media will be changed to Graphic printer.
